小咖啡馆系列的名字让人难以避免会想到巴黎风格的咖啡厅，人们在路边的咖啡厅里聊天、喝酒、打牌、甚至是读一本引人入胜的小说，完全忘却周围的世界。然而，这一系列的名字其实另有来头。1920年，俄国水手在法国南部马赛的老港口登陆，想要在咖啡厅找些吃的。考虑到他们每天在船上的训练，很显然他们时间很紧，所以也跑得很快，他们大声吆喝着‘Bistro! Bistro!’，这很像法语里表示‘快！快!’的词。

无疑，这个俄语词在Volevatch创始人Serge Volevatch先生的脑海里留下了深刻的印象。之后，这成就了一个永恒的系列，也是所有经典卫浴设备之中的经典。简单精致的流线型外观，给人时髦且复古的双重感受。小咖啡馆系列是Maison Volevatch的灵魂所在，使无数人回忆起旧日美好时光而独具温度与个性。

Exciting quests, aspirations and untold discoveries are at the very origin of Maison Volevatch. But what would it be without the most retro among all the collections? The stunning success of the Bistrot collection over the years was a fundamental pillar in the endorsement of Maison Volevatch’s creations through international aesthetes.

The name is not without recalling the very Parisian café where one loves to chat, drink a glass, play cards or even forget the world around while being submerged in reading a lavish novel. The origin of the name came actually from another subtle source, slightly different. In 1920, Russian sailors disembarked at the old port of Marseilles, South of France and while entering a café were looking for a refreshment. In view of their daily training on ships, they were obviously in great hurry and the word spread fast around, screaming from their lungs ‘Bistro ! Bistro!’ which relate in the French language as ‘quick-quick’.

The Russian word undoubtedly left a very strong imprint in Serge’s mind. This later gave birth to a timeless collection, a classic among all bathroom classic fittings! Simple forms, fluid and precise shapes creating a style and at the same time very chic and lightly vintage. Though the collection is carrying the soul of Maison Volevatch, it brings warmth and characters in recalling moments of intense pleasures from yesterday memories.
